What's new in Litigo, most recent first.

Hearing arguments

  • Record your own arguments made at each hearing as a running list, and mark each one Worked, Partially worked, or Didn't work with a single click — no need to know the outcome right away, add it whenever it becomes clear.
  • Added an Opposing party's arguments field on each hearing, for a quick summary of what the other side argued.
  • Both show up in the case's Hearings tab and its Timeline.

Appointments

  • Added Appointments — for client conferences, meetings with co-counsel, or anything time-bound that isn't a court hearing. Give it a title, date, and optional time, location, and case link.
  • A new Appointments page lists everything you've scheduled, standalone or tied to a case — reachable from the nav bar.
  • Case pages get their own Appointments tab, same as Hearings and Tasks.
  • Appointments show up everywhere hearings and tasks already do: the dashboard's "Upcoming" list, notifications, email reminders, the Calendar (as a distinct blue entry), Today's page, and search.

Multiple parties per case

  • "Case title" is now labelled Cause Title.
  • Client name and Opposing party now support more than one name — click the + beside either field to add another.
  • Added Diary number, Client phone/email, and Opposing counsel to case records — client phone and email are now clickable to call or email directly. All are searchable from the search bar.
  • Added a Limitation date field — shown as a prominent red banner on the case page and a badge on your case list, so a statutory deadline is hard to miss. It now also triggers in-app and email reminders, same as hearings and tasks, using your existing reminder settings. Also added an Act & section field for the governing law.
  • Restyled the "Related to an existing case" dropdown on the New/Edit case forms to match the rest of the app instead of your browser's default dropdown look.
  • Added an "Overdue — not yet updated" section to the dashboard — a standing list of cases whose hearing date has passed but hasn't been logged yet, always visible regardless of your reminder settings.
  • /today now shows only what's genuinely listed today — overdue hearings moved exclusively to the dashboard's new Overdue section, so Today's cause list isn't mixing the two anymore.
  • Overdue hearings no longer also show up in the "Upcoming in the next 7 days" list — they now live only in the dashboard's Overdue section, so you won't see the same one twice.
  • Simplified the look of the "Upcoming" reminder lists (dashboard, Notifications, and the bell dropdown) — a clean divided list instead of a separate box around each item.
  • Replaced the browser's default calendar popup with a custom-styled one on the Search page and the search filters dialog, so picking a date range looks like the rest of Litigo instead of your OS's own calendar widget.
  • Extended that same custom styling across the app — every dropdown, checkbox, and date picker now matches Litigo's look instead of your browser's defaults: case type/status, hearing/note/research type pickers, task checkboxes, notification toggles, and every date field (filing date, limitation date, hearing dates, due dates).
  • Fixed the dashboard's "Critical deadlines open" and "Hearings this week" counts, which weren't accounting for critical limitation dates and overdue hearings correctly.
  • "Your cases" table on the dashboard now shows Stage (from the most recently logged hearing) instead of Client, alongside Case, Court, Next date, and Status.
  • Dates in "Your cases" now show as DD-MM-YYYY and no longer wrap awkwardly onto two lines.
  • Notes, learnings, and updates can now be linked to a case right from the standalone Notes page — pick one from the new "Case (optional)" field when adding or editing.
  • Removed the heavy black focus outline that appeared on form fields across the app — focus is now shown with a subtle ring instead.

Litigo Pro and email reminders

  • Introduced Litigo Pro (₹299/month or ₹2,999/year) — unlimited active cases. The free plan covers up to 5 active cases and is otherwise fully featured.
  • Added email reminders for upcoming hearings and tasks — turn them on per-threshold in Settings, alongside the existing in-app reminders.
  • Search got faster and smarter — live results as you type, plus filters for date range and tags.
  • Redesigned the homepage and added a real Pricing page.

Case Timeline and richer case records

  • Added a Timeline tab on every case — hearings, completed tasks, and notes merged into one chronological view of what happened, in order.
  • You can now link related cases — an interim application, appeal, or execution to its parent case.
  • Tasks can be flagged as critical (e.g. a limitation date) so they stand out wherever they appear.
  • Upload documents to a case — petitions, orders, evidence, scanned filings — kept private and secure.
  • Added a Today page — a printable list of everything on your court calendar today.
  • Hearing records can now capture bench, judge, courtroom, stage, and attendance, for when you need that level of detail.

Building out the core diary

  • Sign in with Google.
  • Case pages reorganized into tabs: Hearings, Tasks, Research, Documents, and Notes & Learnings.
  • Added a Research tab for tracking case law, statutes, and articles per case.
  • Added a notification bell so upcoming reminders are visible from anywhere in the app.
  • Added standalone Notes for learnings that aren't tied to any one case.
  • Added a Calendar view of every upcoming hearing.
  • Added global search across cases, hearings, and notes.
  • Profile photos, password reset, and a public landing page.

Launch

  • Litigo launched — track cases, hearings, and notes in one digital diary, built for solo advocates in India.
